2014 BMW i8 Prices, News and Reviews

Like Nissan, BMW has decided that electric vehicles are important for their future business, given the rapidly growing number of consumers with environmental awareness around the world. Most immediately, the i-coches will help the brand as a whole to deal with the escalation of global standards for fuel economy and CO2 emissions. And, of course, new tec-heavy electric contribute to the desired image of BMW as a company socially responsible "green" and an innovative technical automobile manufacturer. As an Executive of the company was declared in 2009: "in the future, leadership in the premium segment will belong to any manufacturer builds their products as efficient and respectful of resources - and offers its customers solutions more advanced and exciting for the echo of easy personal mobility."Rivals such as Audi and Mercedes-Benz have reached the same conclusion and a plan to commercialize its own advanced technology of electric vehicles in the next few years.

But there has always been more than I project as independent electric cars. As the British Autocar magazine notes: "BMW is using the mark i as the basis for a network of mobility of persons and the activities of car-sharing-based." These include one based on the new location information portal and a joint venture with the German giant Sixt car rental, through which the i3 will be e i8 offers. "In the United States.USA, BMW is working with partners in cities like New York in a rental scheme - here/leave-there called DriveNow. As head of sales Ian Robertson explained to coach, "people in big cities feel less capable of possessing a car quite frankly, [but] still want personal mobility. Under the age of 25 in Tokyo most does not have a driver's license, because it cannot be a car owner, since all seats are already spoken. "BMW is also considering a service that will go i - drivers of cars parking right near several public facilities through Internet links and GPS on board." The company still expects an eventual infrastructure that allows cars to "talk" among themselves in order to reduce the chances of accidents and help drivers to avoid traffic delays.

Project which also seeks to promote "sustainable mobility" through the reduction of the environmental impact of the production of vehicles, not just the vehicle itself. The i3 concept is an example. As pointed out by motor trend, "between the use of recycled aluminum from 50 per cent in the chassis and the manufacture of Interior panels and seats outside the hemp fibre, water bottles recycled, and the like, the potential total of global warming of the fully electric i3 which has one [said] to be less one third than the a similar [clean diesel] 1-Series hatchback." That reduced by half if recharged with renewable energy. The Leipzig plant... also consumed 70 percent less water per vehicle and are executed in a 100 percent renewable energy. "All very commendable, although none of these ideas are new, and other automobile manufacturers have launched similar initiatives with recycled materials, renewable energy and other ecological measures of manufacturing.

However, i program is remarkable since BMW considers it as a "science project" supplies with possible future benefits for their regular vehicles. As head of sales Robertson told coach, ' Project i will be the development of a new technology that applies to the entire company. " It is the [line] environment, so one bookend of the ends of the company, with the [performance] division M in the other. Also going to use its capabilities intellectuals push the envelope. It will be a greenhouse and an incubator "."

Despite the (in) famous episode civic 2012, seem to be bad feelings between Honda and Consumer Reports (CR). The publication may have fallen Civic 2012 in its list of recommendations to press to a quick redesign, but Honda can relax on its U.S. market.UU. best-selling refers. In fact, you can even smile as CR has the agreement of 2013 at the top of his class in four-cylinder guise while taking note that the V6 version is "challenging Toyota Camry for the top spot" in their grades. "Honda lost the brand with other models redesigned in recent years, but it did," said CR Auto Test Center director Jake Fisher. In particular, the new Accord was praised by its fuel efficiency. Leelee Sobieski Wallpapers Gallery And News

Liliane Rudabet Gloria Elsveta Sobieski was born in New York on June 10, 1983. She caught the attention of a casting agent who noticed her while he was scouting the cafeteria of a New York City private school. The man asked her to audition for a role in Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles (1994). She ended up losing the role to Kirsten Dunst, but that didn't stop her. At age 13 she co-starred in the TV movie Reunion (1994) (TV) with Marlo Thomas and a year later starred in A Horse for Danny (1995) (TV). Although she had roles in many films, it was in 1998 that she hit the big time, starring opposite Elijah Wood in Deep Impact (1998). The film, which was one of the summer's biggest hits, garnered Leelee great reviews and brought her to the attention of many casting directors. Next up was Joan of Arc (1999) (TV), which she shot in the Czech Republic and for which she received an Emmy nomination. While working on Joan of Arc (1999) (TV), she was also shooting a film with Tom Cruise, Eyes Wide Shut (1999). The film, shot under strict secrecy by the notoriously reclusive Stanley Kubrick, had Leelee cast as a teenage nymphet who tempts Cruise's character. It didn't turn out to be quite the summer blockbuster expected but, again, Leelee got some good reviews. While shooting the film she developed a friendship with Stanley Kubrick and was heartbroken when he died soon after its completion.
